Newsflash

Point Cook Motorcycle Club will again be involved in the organising of the Pink Ribbon Ride. Organisers Marcel Gomperts, Alex Money and Dan Mumby have secured the fund-raising event for the Cancer Council Victoria with the Point Cook Town Centre, who will host the event on Sunday OCTOBER 25th 2009.

2008 was a great start, with just 4 weeks to organise the event, and many clubs already committed to small local rides, the attendence of around 200 bikes, was, whilst small, a great crowd all the same.

If your club would like to find our how to be involved, take a look at the 2009 Pink Ribbon Ride.

There's a lot of talk in the Australian media about bikie's, and the demonising of them....just because the behaviour of a few who happen to ride bikes. But this is Australia, we are not racist (nor should we be). We look beyond the colour of a man's skin, and recognise him for his heart and his deeds.  So why do we assume that all people who ride bikes, or are part of a bike club, are criminals?

Don't be fooled, this is not an issue about bikers - this is about what's in your heart.

Is it the fear of others --- that horrible seed planted by others, to make you afraid?

Or is it compassion, and the ability to see beyond the outer layer?

What this comes down to - Are you a slave, or a free man? Free to form your own opinions, and control your own thoughts, or do you allow yourself be controlled by the agenda of others?

You can decide to be free, or accept others agenda, but you can't have both.

So ask yourself. "What's in my heart?"
